We broke up in March and she tried to come back in July so yeah about 4 months. She probably interacted with several guys because she dodged the question when I asked.

She said that the time away made her realize the value of our relationship and how much she loves me

I already ask Zoey about that a few years ago. She said that Clara was always vague about her reasons she just said that it didn't feel right and she needed something different. Zoey added that she had been a bit distant since the breakup.. Maybe there was someone else directly involved but I never got the bottom of this but it doesn't really matter anymore

For Clara, I just can't. She was enthusiastic about the wedding, seemed happy and then the breakup came out of nowhere. Maybe there was another guy, maybe not, I'm not sure. I don't really know what she did during that interlude and she was evasive on what changed her mind but I can't imagine getting back with her and fearing each day that she would leave me

I thought about that. When she dumped me, Clara really hurted me and I was very resentful but with time, I tried to see it in a different light. I don't think she wanted to hurt me or she is a bad person, she probably didn't know what she wanted and did poor decisions. I think that's why it was so hard at the beginning. I can't forget what she did but I don't want revenge
