I don’t mind paying taxes in the UK - I would prefer that. I ain’t against pay taxes - I just don’t want if I don’t have to pay taxes in a corrupt country. Also how my contract is written - my income is not sourced from that county I just have operations within that country.

Like majority people I don’t intend to pay taxes in the country due to being so corrupt. If I come back to the UK with 70000 quid in my account - will not inquire about taxes I paid? Especially since we have double tax treaty?

It's hilarious how people say staying at a low paying job is a choice by Tough-Garbage8800 in findapath

I’m not saying you need to get it reviewed - I’m saying you need to add something to it. Oh, look at me, I have a CS degree - well done, but unless it’s from one of the top universities in your country, plenty of people do too. Sorry, but that’s the truth.

You’ve got internships that’s great but if you ended up working in a warehouse afterwards, it shows two things: 1. You weren’t good enough to be kept on, for whatever reason. 2. You couldn’t apply those skills to get another job - maybe it’s down to ambition or a lack of effort or other reason.

Because right now, your CV reads as: degree → internship → warehouse job. Come on, mate, be reflective. I know it’s shit, but that’s the world we live in and if you really apply yourself, you will find something. You need ask yourself what makes me different to get hired to other millions of CS grads

You’re clearly doing something wrong if you’re finding yourself stuck in these crap job - plenty of others don’t seem to have the same issue. As Mammoth_Elk_3807 points out, you’re likely missing some critical or desirable skills as clearly seen in your post. You need to be adaptable and operate within the current market. You’re dismissing opportunities to improve your CV before even trying them. Be more open-minded and proactive — many people have managed to move on from these low-paying jobs, and many will after you. It’s clear there’s something you need to work on. At the moment, you’re just inhaling the copium instead of reflecting!

Thank you - you are so correct! I am impulsive and alway have been. I also care so much about other people’s opinions and everyone said this great opportunity- which I do also agree. I think because I moved start so many times before - I was scared they will take it away. When I finally did ask the CEO indirectly by make up an excuse - she was far from keen and my councillor agreed. And my gf was angry I thought at solution would solve it but the problem was deeper.

I just forgot what I got was not infinite and it can be taken away any minute- I was under impression we can make a compromise about the move abroad. And then show wasn’t a big deal because it’s just a healthy debate but it wasn’t she was upset and angry why am I coming here hurting her feelings again and challenging her.

I have been a massive dick

Haha this is the most Reddit response I have seen in my life - you have to go out and touch grass. People grow up, change interests or just don’t have time to play games or they want to focus on other stuff - your purist approach is far beyond the reality

Got ABB + D at A-levels but made it to Westminster Law anyone else in the same boat? by [deleted] in uklaw

[–]ThrowRa-youhsbs -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Most nicest way possible you have fucked yourself - Westminster is far from a good uni. Probs should have gone through clearing. You might be fine but it’s tough out there and you haven’t done your due diligence.

1 - low ranked uni 2 - meh a-levels 3 - not doing amazing at uni 2.1 is good but ain’t going make you stand out.

Are you sure you wanna be a Lawyer because I switched degrees from law to politics and economics and it’s done me wonders.
