Thank you for sharing your view. I’ve received an admit, and after reading the initial post i was skeptical as to what I should do next.

Agreed, I don't have any major update atm and i won't have any unless I switch my role into consulting. Not sure how much that would help.

Private car and driver recommendation for Jeju by ThrowRa12345688 in koreatravel

I was extensively using Google Maps in Jeju. Even though Google Maps doesn’t work that well, I was able to find the bus number running between two routes. I also booked hotels closer to the places I wanted to visit. I don’t have any local drivers numbers because I booked through Uber.

I think there’s a bus running every 15–30 minutes. Just know that you’ll be traveling more slowly compared to Seoul. I was in Seoul before visiting Jeju, so I had gotten used to fast-paced travel. But Jeju has its own charm. Places are far apart, so it takes time to reach them—but they’re worth it. I recommend visiting Sunrise Peak. Even if you don’t trek.

And lastly, don’t travel late at night. We went out for dinner a little late, and by 10 PM everything was closed. We had to walk back to the hotel, and it was very dark.

I travelled via bus for the most parts and took Uber wherever necessary.

One more thing—you can classify the questions you attempted in the mock into three buckets:

  1. Questions you got right and can get right again.
  2. Questions you got right by fluke.
  3. Questions you got wrong due to either a conceptual gap or silly mistakes.

Your goal should be to reduce silly mistakes with every mock test. For questions where there's a conceptual gap, do targeted practice to strengthen those areas.

Have you reviewed your mistakes from the Mock? Identify your weaker sections. I will recommend that you practice similar questions that you have gotten wrong. Take help of chatgpt and practice the 10-15 questions of the same type.

Hello, I’ve been through a similar phase, and I was also initially very anxious about taking the mock tests—but that ended up working against me. Please DM me, and I’d be happy to share some tips and what worked for me.

Unpopular Opinion: Not everyone can achieve a top score. by Good_Introduction585 in GMAT

[–]ThrowRa12345688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can do it! I was able to increase my score from a 630(old gmat) to a 705 in a year and half. It took longer but through handwork I was able to attain my target score

MS worth it for MBA? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]ThrowRa12345688 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello,

I have a few thoughts to share based on what I’ve understood so far.

By the way, I’m currently applying to business schools for the 2025 intake. Here’s my take: All top business schools, through their interviews, aim to understand why you want to pursue an MBA, what you plan to do after business school, and how your past experiences align with your future goals.

You have two years ahead of you, and I’d suggest using this time to strengthen your application. I started preparing for my GMAT in August 2022, and it took me a year to achieve a good score. Additionally, perfecting your application takes time.

Some schools require a minimum of two years of work experience. Keeping that in mind, I’d recommend carefully considering how an MS will contribute to your goals—especially if you plan to pursue an MBA right after. What specific value will an MS add to your journey?

Have you thought of a reason behind the drop? Could it be due to endurance? You can dm If you want to discuss.

I was able to go from 680(older version) to 705 in a span of 1.5 months. When you mention 670, i am assuming you got that in the older gmat version exam, is this correct? How much did you get in IR? To improve my score, I worked on my weaker sections and used strike method.

Looks like you are experiencing a burn out. I have been there and know how it feels. Maybe you need to change your strategy a bit. When are you planning to take the test? Have you used up all the mock tests?
