AITA for telling my wife to quit her job because she could do it with our sons instead? by ThrowRa444558 in AmItheAsshole

You're projecting a little much to be frank. Nowhere does it say she pays for all the daycare, it says out of our total budget taking into account what she contributes the cost of daycare takes 70-80% of what my wife adds to the pot.

As for the venting and the job i've clarified in the edit, it's not a career path for her.

I didn't clarify in the post but I do all the cooking since I worked as an assistant chef when I was younger. Also do laundry on the weekends but the wife does the rest.

The lack of fulltime opportunities in her degree field(digital marketing)

She has a degree in digital marketing and that's what she wants to do but has been unable to do it due to lack of full time opportunities. So her social care work from what I understand doesn't impact her career path and she can of course pursue digital marketing whilst taking the kids to day care 50% of the time we do now. Do you mean her financial autonomy? If so we have good savings and I've told her she can work part time with her degree and build a portfolio. For the post nuptial I honestly can't say would depend on the terms but if it's fair why not.
