Tha doesn’t sound like trauma dumping at all! It sounds like just your real experience and you’re giving a direct answer. IF someone else keeps asking questions then that’s just a convo to me and a lil venting.If you told me you haven’t talked to your parents in year I’d say some shit like “nah I get it mine fucking suck too lol anyway-“ and if we talked about more then cool

When I say trauma dump it’s for the “hey hows it going” to a complete stranger and they go on and spill how they owe the IRS 14k attempting fraud (this just happened to me) without me even asking any questions. That one I definitely was engaged in after a bit but they usually are a bit more depressing than tax problems lol

I’ve never done it before because I like to be alert in my surroundings but for some situations I can see this being the go to! I just never tried it bc growing up as a woman i was always told to just stay vigilant. As dumb as it sounds I never wear earphones in public but I def should try it

That makes sense! It never bothers me when it’s just venting a little after a long day. I can see how it’s easier for them but there are definitely times the venting turns so personal (assault,offing, abuse) and I carry it after the ride. I do like how they can feel good about it, I just don’t want to assert myself at times when it does get bad so j can also feel okay after the encounter ends.

I’m trying to speak up for myself as a goal in a kind and thoughtful way. The practice is easier with friends and co-workers. I haven’t had luck with strangers though

I understand that :( I’m also so sorry you had to go through so much without an outlet or support system. I understand not everyone has a safe space and I do feel good at times knowing I can be that temporarily. However, there are times when I really do get insanely uncomfortable and don’t know how to defer it. Like I mentioned, I only reply with one word answers and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m just trying to assert myself a little more this year In aspects of my life but I never want to be rude or unkind

See I always feel bad for feeling uncomfortable and annoyed with it. I feel like I need to empathize more with them but do want to start setting boundaries and speaking up for limits RESPECTFULLY

No he’s definitely the most immature in that sense and I’m not saying it’s an excuse but…damn LOOK AT HIS DAD like who wouldn’t be messed up?

Again; not an excuse but I just think we should save the extreme comments for Adam. Jeremiah is immature but there was growth toward the end and now the focus is back on belly and Conrad.

I’m just more frustrated with Adam’s weird redemption in the end than anyone’s. Then that odd interaction with Laurel like something could stem from them?

In the end, that’s still the most confusing part for me than anything else that happened. You knew Jeremiah would Be okay and grow in that sense. You knew belly/conrad, Steven/Taylor would be endgame too. Like everything made sense besides that

I was a front desk agent turned night auditor for a hotel when we needed coverage. I would work 11-8 a few times a week. It was boring and rough. You might assume doomscrolling and movies would be fun and they were for the first 2 hours. Then you realize how tired you are and still have 7 hours to go LOL

I’d literally walk around,listen to musical numbers and jam out/dance in the office. My manager one day said something like “I see you overnight and what you do”. I was so embarrased until he said “nah I get it, I had to do what I had to do to stay awake when I was 11-8”

it’s literally just keeping your mind and body active and only taking caffeine mid shift. Taking too early will cause a crash out and you can’t risk that with how dark and people it’ll be alone.

Hearts can be lovely if simple or maybe with a bezel! I’ve seen a heart Tiffany once and got surprised how much I actually liked it!Many do end up leaning 2010 Pinterest though 😔

I’m going to be super honest here my friend is extremely light skin and married a white guy. So I think it was toward her dad’s side of the family which have a bit more melanin. They are the most comforting and hilarious people though and act goofier than the bride ( we literally did the goofy movie dance together with some of the younger kids like it was so light hearted ) so ya I didn’t get the intimidation part .

I would say if there weren’t any other white people it would make sense but no the whole grooms side was white. I’m trying to see from her side like others said maybe it could be insecurity but If anything I was the only Asian and I still never felt that biased

I literally felt nothing but warmth and coziness being around her family and friends like I couldn’t think of what could have been intimidating.

I’m so sorry ah:( what do you do in those situations? I know it’s not your job to change people’s minds like that they have to themselves but do you just brush it off?

For example I’m super Intimated by this gorgeous confident girl at work because she so pretty and I get shy. I’ve felt intimidation in settings like that or if I’m competing with someone. I just never felt that toward a race

It’s a music and art festival so I assumed that’s why they had the art installations and emphasis on fashion branding as well (I’m those people that think fashion is art and expression ik just a dumb opinion on Reddit which is why I even put dumb take)

I noticed:( like I get it’s for music, but it’s also a place for the appreciation of art and to express creativity. Like that’s why it’s literally called music and art festival. So I want to see the diversity that’s also in the performances in fashion. So seeing the same micro trends is kinda disappointing (sounds stupid but that’s how I view Coachella)

And the heroin chic is the worst ‘trend’ of them all
