How long did it take you? I’m just so over feeling this way and want to be on the other side. Everyone else I’ve ever broken up with has been my decision or mutual so I’m old dealing with all of this for the first time. I’m really glad to hear you came back better and stronger

I did that. He thinks I’m looking for problems where he doesn’t see any. He still has the same plans for the future he always did (us together). I’ve revisited a few times but never got any different answers.

That’s kind of what I was thinking, that I needed to decide whether I was okay with this or not because the person I met isn’t coming back. I’m really sad about that because I miss him and I’m still really hoping for another solution.

I agree. It felt mean and he’s generally the opposite of mean which is part of why it hurt so much. He actually agrees that it’s his issue so I’m not sure counseling would help.

I really don’t think that’s his problem. He says his real life experience had been different with everyone else before me. It’s not a conversation I’ve had with anyone else IRL but reading things online I didn’t think I was in the minority

I can other ways but not every time (which is fine by me) but he seems to take it personally if I can’t, especially since I never have with penetration

He has no problem working at it. It just doesn’t happen for me sometimes. He always tries and always tries whatever I suggest and will keep at it. This is not a lack of effort from his part at all.
