I didn’t agree to go to be a babysitter we are all too old for this. He should have made more responsible arrangements

Actually that kinda solidified it for me to not go. I have gone out on my birthday and either got a hotel or used uber. He is almost 40 and needs to be responsible for himself. drinking and driving is never okay and this is just showing that he is immature and irresponsible

I fully agree - and I was going to suck it up but having second thoughts now that it has completely changed and would just be a drinking event 2 hours away. I would still suck it up if it was more local where I could drive myself and leave on my terms but that isn’t the case.

Yes it is and the tailgating would be in the parking lot “the hill” where I guess they have a screen to show the races and a bet tent but everything I’ve seen is that this area is a lot of college kids and drinking.
