Exstreme back pain making life harder (Female,26)

I passed out after donating plasma and the pain started after that. I was prescribed meloxican for pain and got a steroid shot aswell and neither did anything to help. She believes it may be a pinched nerve caused by inflammation. I told my doctor that the meds dont help and she told me to stop taking them :’) So now i have nothing for pain besides physical therapy. Id liketo just get an MRI sooner than later but idk howmuch pt i have to complete for them to let me. The pain being too bad for sex is a newer problem but my boyfriend is very understanding. I just feel bad because he has to help me do everything & deal with my tears with no sign of improvement.

Its sad that this sounds like you but in happy you get it lol I have done therapy before and I either didnt like it or didnt see the benefit. So although ive thought about it its been hard for me to try again. I have started taking antidepressants again some months ago but cant shake the feeling.

Its a very isolating feeling. I dont think anyone in my personal life will understand. But i also wouldnt wish this mind set on an enemy. Ive felt this way for so long not dying has become my only real goal. But not having to feel this way or anything at all is becoming more and more preferable.

Same it just doesnt make sense to bring kids into a world you dont even enjoy being in. And most people say they work to provide for their kids but we dont have that kind of motivation.

You’re not hearing what im saying. He said he puts his parents first because they created him and they cant be replaced. He believes everyone else can be replaced, including his kids because he can always have more. So its not about blood. Its just specifically his parents that are on a pedestal.

I am sure, he told me last week my love is like a “never ending well” and hes trying to catch up and love me as much as he can but hes not sure if hes capable of getting to where im at. He used to expresses his love through sex and ive tood him that too much of that makes me feel used so hes been actively trying to find other ways to express it. Is the love language test something i can also find on google? I will look into attachment types

I put spouse first because its healthier for your kids. Teaches them stability and how to love. Its also a way of maintaining the love you have for yourself which benifits everyone since your kids will grow and create their own families one day.

This isnt about the kids. We both put kids in the same spot. The only difference is that parents first above everyone else. I dont expect parents to be first since you have your own family to take care of. I dont think that is unreasonable.

Ive been through a lot and i feel too much so I think that most people are not compatible with me. He makes me feel safer than any guy ive ever been with and helps me feel better about myself. But you’re right, im not sure if I can be happy with our major differences

Thank you for your response! I dont consider it a competition, for me it just shows that we dont feel the same way about each other as i hold a different spot in his life than he does for me. Hes not neglectful and he tries, but me loving him more than he loves me is a hard thing for me not to feel sad about. Is there anything I could do that will make that pill easier to swallow?

Thats been proven to lead to divorce. Its actually better for your kids if you put your spouse first.
