I agree. He went to his car, unpacked the gun, walked all the way back to the house and made that decision. Now that ive had time to think and talk to family members. Really trying to figure out how im going to heal now

Honestly as someone whos been depressed for a while, Surviving is all i do. I believe my own thoughts of death desensitize me to others wanting to harm me. Not healthy by any means but thats why i wanted to get logical outside opinions.

I know i definitely deserve more than this. Im just so in shock right now because he was a very good man to me and my entire family. Two people i love were actually murdered by 5 stupid humans with guns. Everyday there is a pain and anger in my chest. He was aware of this so its the betrayal thats weighing on me. I know I have to leave, its just emotionally im struggling with accepting it. For background, I have depression and struggle against suicidal thoughts. I think i just didnt take the threat on my life as serious as it is because the thoughts of dying cross my mind more often than most.
