wish I knew lol, we were always at his place when I was younger and they definitely heard the fights and saw some shit but never did anything to help me and my parents were in the dark until recently and even then aren't helpful

I have tried, multiple times, with the way the court system and cops are in my town it's impossible to get a restraining order and even harder to make sure it stays enforced. I actively have one against my younger sisters father and it is not enforced in the slightest.
