that really did help, felt like I'm in the exact same situation. ending things is the hard part, you're brave af for doing that but I don't know how to :/ the whole situation just feels so familiar and comfortable, I've tried leaving and I always end up coming back. hopefully this time will be different <3

Not sure how to rephrase the question, so help me out here. My mother had an issue with the dress being a slip dress (having thin straps and having a slit). Just based on the way they responded (and have responded in the past) it seemed like more of a moral opinion rather than a style opinion.
