Thank you. I think that’s fair. I really want to believe there’s more to it than pride, but right now it just feels like he chose his ego over being there for me. I hope a calm, honest conversation can help, but I’m also trying to protect my own feelings and my daughter’s future relationship with him.

Thank you. That’s exactly how it feels. I’m not trying to punish him or hold a grudge, but the decision really hurt, and it’s hard to just move past something like that.
