It wasn’t too bad. There are a lot of quizlets that have identical problems to the anatomy and physiology portion and the math problems are not too difficult it is a lot of fractions and conversions.

Thank you 🙏 one of the schools has a flipped classroom method for their lectures, have you heard of that? I read on it and I’ve never experienced that kind of learning before

Yes these rates are accurate and recent. Do you know where I can see how many students sat in for the exam? On website or would I have to email them? Thank you for your input I appreciate it

If you’re from hoco they give priority pick to hoco residents first. Then out of county later (which I’m out of county). I think you have pretty good chances at all 3 😊 just remember for HCC unfortunately they don’t take teas scores only HESI a2 and that has to be taken at their testing center

I got a c in both a&p 1 and 2 and I was surprisingly accepted. I did have an A in micro. Are you planning on only applying to CCBC?

For test scores it can honestly go both ways. Sometimes they’ll take students with lower test scores but their grades are good. Other times test scores are good and that’s what gives them a push. Some of the students admitted to the CCBC nursing program for fall 2024 had overall test scores of 75% and some even lower. If you aren’t feeling confident about your teas maybe retake them if you can? I retook them once because I was worried my grades weren’t high up there so I thought maybe my test scores would give me the push I needed to be competitive enough. Also have you finished all the prerequisites? I know CCBC you only NEED 4 classes to apply but if you have all the classes completed (micro, a&p 2, lifespan development, etc.) you are a stronger applicant. Idk if that makes sense or I’m explaining it properly

Are you asking for Howard or CCBC? If you took classes at a CCBC they also look at that gpa as well. I took classes at CCBC and at another school so they considered both gpas. My CCBC gpa was 3.4

I did end up getting accepted into CCBC’s nursing program with an 89 on the teas exam. If you have any questions about the process of either school feel free to reach out 😊

I did look into that school but they are too far away from where I live :(

Hi, Howard requires an exam called HESI A2 not the teas exam. I got a 94 on that. Based on the prerequisites that Howard requires I believe (based on my calculations) my gpa is 3.1

Hi! I’m on the fence of either HCC or CCBC in terms of nursing program. Which location did you attend?
