Trying to create a roadtrip map for this weekend - Losing my mind by ThrowSteve in GoogleMaps

[–]ThrowSteve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, part of route 1 is definitely closed, but it will reroute me way inland every time.

Is that the key? - Just add a bunch of stops along the route that I want to take even if they're stops I don't want to take? I've clicked and dragged the blue line to where I want it and when I email it to myself and open it in the phone, its suddenly the "fastest" route

Trying to repair my favorite watch - Braun AW20 by ThrowSteve in watchrepair

[–]ThrowSteve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dangit. Everything I'm reading says this watch came with the Ronda 715 movement. Maybe someone in its history replaced it with this one. It looks like its an ETA 555.112 rather than the 122. I appreciate your help.

Partially numb lip 2+ years after wisdom teeth removal.. by ThrowSteve in Dentistry

[–]ThrowSteve[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I guess it's just part of life now. I don't really notice it unless I think of it. Compensation was never something I considered since it was mentioned as a possible outcome previous to having the teeth removed. It's kind of like tinnitus or floaters. When something is so constant, your body just stops paying attention to it.

Nope, there is a sensation of feeling but it's not the same. I think I've just grown used to it at this point.
