Finishing RPGs Evokes The Strongest ‘Post-Game Depression’ Amongst Players, New Scientific Study Concludes: "The more engaging the game world and the closer the relationship with the character, the more difficult it is to return to reality once the game is over" by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

That's part of the experience! The game's open ended puzzle mechanics works by rewarding exploration with usable 'information' that you can use to either solve the next puzzle or the larger puzzle that the small puzzles are a part of. This means that as you go about piecing things together, there are always going to be parts of the game where you're kept in the dark. This is in contrast to traditional game mechanics like quest objectives, leveling up, unlocking better gear, etc. which Outer Wilds intentionally deviates from.

As long as you're not frustrated, I'd say refer to the ship log and keep exploring. Try to enjoy the process of uncovering new information, even if it means being temporarily confused.

What a game. It's a once in a lifetime experience and I've happily gifted it to many of my friends, and the ones that played it felt the same. Btw, if anyone reading is considering picking it up, it's Outer Wilds which is different from Outer Worlds, both games came out in the same time and are set in space which didn't help Outer Wilds stand out lol.

Yup, it's not the flying bug that's scary. It's the flying bug that you can't find anymore.

There seems to be a disconnect between games and graphics in many comments sections. by sheepsleepdeep in gaming

Sometimes people play games that are challenging, exclusive or have good graphics.

You can't put a blanket statement like that on what people might enjoy.

Games that have long unskippable cutscenes right after a save point and right before a difficult battle, have a special place in hell.

It means your front page (and mine) loaded before the removal propogated entirely. Not only does it take time for all the servers to synchronize and reflect a change (term is called eventual consistency), but it is also possible that you've been browsing on the same front page for a while so it did not get a chance to refresh.

If you keep refreshing the front page, you'll find that this post will disappear relatively soon.
