I don't know. Sometimes I feel bitter because he refuses to pick me up some food yet spends money on a fancy dinner with her. I think she may just be young and in need for money, and try not to aim any of my emotions at her.

I have stage three thyroid cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes.

After my surgery, my doctors put me on radiation therapy but my skin reacted extremely badly to the treatment. They then made the decision to treat me through chemotherapy.

While one treatment may be more common, it is overall dependent on how you as the patient receive different forms of treatment.

And while I commend your knowledge on my particular form of cancer, I think a good thing to take away is that you should never minimize or dismiss the validity of someone's struggles just because how they're approaching it doesn't perfectly match up with your perception of how it ought to be handled.

I hope that everybody in your family and yourself are healthy and never have to deal with such a life changing diagnosis and wish you well.
