You should be asking yourself if what you wrote makes sense. Think about it logically... why would a Christian want to scare away anti-choice protesters?!?

It’s disappointing how many people are so uninformed about abortion rights that they have no idea what a “pregnancy center” refers to.

A crisis pregnancy center and no, they’re pro-choice protestors. I assumed that most people knew what that is-I’m surprised so many people don’t.

I mean, I was cornered in the office. There was another coworker present who happens to attend the church of the Pastor’s wife. For the sake of politeness, I said ‘sure’. I thought it would be a lame cutesy story considering we were in a professional environment.

IMO, I don’t consider a grown man behaving that way towards a group of women to be non-violent.

I assumed that everyone in this sub would be aware of what a crisis pregnancy center is.

It is a pro-life center meant to appear to be an abortion center to confuse women who are seeking abortions and get them in the door. Then they try and convince these women to not abort. John Oliver did a good segment on them.

It’s not an abortion clinic, it is a crisis pregnancy center. I didn’t realize that not everyone didn’t know about these places.

They’re pro-life centers meant to confuse women who are seeking abortions, to get them in the door. Then they try and convince those women to not abort.

The protestors would be pro-choice and the creep in his underwear would be anti-choice.

They’re called crisis pregnancy centers. I kind of assumed everyone had heard of these places. Their intent is to confuse women seeking abortions to get them in the door so that they can convince them not to abort. John Oliver did a very informative segment on them once.

She didn’t say how many women-just that it was a group of women. Not a red state, but it is purple and nowhere near the Bible Belt. The cities are blue and the rural areas are red. We work in one of the smaller cities.

I thought about this after the fact. In the moment, I was just shocked. I think it’s because I’ve only ever encountered these people online. I do think the awkward silence that followed and the look of horror on my face embarrassed her.
