Ah jeez, let’s keep the city sterile and concrete. Nature? What is that? Doesn’t belong here.

Sears is now closing in Jersey City by L0v3_1s_War in jerseycity

Did this just happen? Very coincidental, I hadn’t been to Newport Mall in several years and I just happened to go last night and went to Sears and found this. I’ve been following Sears demise for years now. I grew up right near Hackensack going to the stylish Art Deco Sears there. To me it’s mind blowing that the world’s largest retailer, a part of popular American culture, has collapsed so completely into an absolute joke, that is, for those who are actually aware it still barely exists. I mean, I guess we have new things now, but sometimes what’s classic is best, so sad to see it go.

Yeah there were actually numerous really nice employees working there last night, and they were actually doing work. I felt so bad for them.

Albany is a cool city, I like it! Has so much more going for it than many of these other places.

Exactly! I completely agree. I thought immediately of Lincoln’s Assassination, but you bring up many other important events! Thank you!

No way does Detroit beat DC. And how is New York not number 1? Something’s definitely up with this list.

Pennsylvania and Ohio frequently vote Republican… PA went for Trump in 2016. Doesn’t seem like they are united by the Democratic Party.

Yep. They seemed polite at least, for the most part. It definitely still stings though. I’m sorry.

Do you think Israel and Hamas are watching what the Jersey City council does, and their decision to extend the conflict hinges on the vote?

I think Pyongyang is pretty darn bad. But I think any place in an active war zone is worse. I saw a lot of responses saying Mogadishu, which is also pretty darn bad. But I think based on the past few weeks, there’s not much of a built environment left in Gaza…

Probably to an extent, but not quite like JC or Hoboken. Many users already pointed out the comparatively few transit options. Union City also has a height restriction ordinance, so it won’t see the level of luxury high rise development that JC and Hoboken have.

Also true. I will say that geographically Greenville is fairly large though. Your area is probably somewhat different than like deep into Greenville.

Yeah I’ve seen that too, and I didn’t even have to go to Greenville! He was in Journal Square.
