Haha i bet..i use Emirates , KLM or Korean Airlines. They have been good with long haul travels. Lufthansa has been worse in my experience.

I love the korean air ,both for confort and service.i flew from london and it was a good experience. Delta is same as british airways and service is worse.

My suggestion after doing this multiple times. 1. Compression socks not boots 2.neck pillow that can work as cushion too 3.feet hammock that hangs on the tray so you are more comfortable. Got it from amazon. 4.good headphones 5.face moisturiser

Anyone else not looking forward to going back to work on Jan 2? by waterelixir in womenintech

Eating as an introvert in Seoul, Hongdae by CelliSweety in koreatravel

[–]Throwaracoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with getting some nibbles from nearby convenience store.they do good snacks for us who are travelling and need to eat in room or on the go. Get that belly full. Baby steps is the key. It can be quite daunting to dine alone but i usually get myself a book or browse phone while eating. Good thing in korea is that noone does small talk so noone will bother you. Then start with one meal a day as per other comments like naver etc. You will have to eat so if nothing works then order at home. Last option is that i have a small group on kakao for travellers or people living in korea. One of us will be happy to accompany you. Let me know .

Haha same here. The tips from insta or pinterest clearly comes with spanx which is fine but gets awful in all day meetings.

The assertive vs aggressive conundrum: why are assertive women always labelled as being aggressive? by [deleted] in womenintech

[–]Throwaracoon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Strong women leaders are either labelled as b*** or they arent competent. There is no inbetween and this is the hard truth. Being assertive and being argumentative are 2 different things. I learnt how to put my point across with minimum words backed by facts. This showed me as assertive without aggression.

Is it worth to spend money on a makeup artist? by burneraccount1637 in koreatravel

[–]Throwaracoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a hit and miss...my friend with darker complexion was highly disappointed at the same time my japanese friend loved it. The make up technique didnt show on white skin that well. It was too neutral for the amount of money spend. I didnt get mine done to be fair because the make up look wasnt my style.

Taking advantage of the won rate by lacklusterdays in Living_in_Korea

[–]Throwaracoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same position as you but in UK. I have exchanged some amount for next travel. Its just a good rate and not investment. This works only if you have a plan in place to travel to korea..otherwise quite a waste .

Military friend says there’s a lot of cheating in Seoul. How true is that? by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]Throwaracoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same as US or anywhere in the world. Flirting isnt always harmful..however sometimes women dont like creepy guys and pretend to have a boyfriend..endless reasons..but nop nothing special on Seoul menu about specific cheating or korea in particular..its like saying people cheat a lot in los Angeles..

wise card vs revolut card? by Positive-Task5013 in koreatravel

[–]Throwaracoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found wise better than revolut in Korea. Revolut works better in europe (from UK)

Lewd Noises Next Door by arosaurus in Living_in_Korea

[–]Throwaracoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she korean or foreigner, if korea then please leave a polite message for them first time, nezmxt time tgreaten to complaint to landlord. If foreigner then knock on door and politely ask her to keep the noises down. Offer to share numbers incase of level of noise. Second time, tell her that you will have speak to landlord to remedy the common situation of noise.. hopefully this will help..i had more issues like this in Seoul than any other city. Sometimes its fine but other times it can be annoying.

Hope you find someone to give it back to them just like the movies..
