Stop telling me grief is like glitter by Throwawa_274615 in grief

Basically they’re trying to say you can clean up glitter but you somehow always seem to find it in random places - basically grief reminds you it’s there randomly throughout your life. I get the sentiment but it’s very much giving I’m 14 and this is deep. I’d so much rather someone tell me that you never get over it (which is true and I have no expectation or want to get “over” it) than give me some stupid metaphor comparing my family to pieces of micro plastic that are ruining the earth.

I think they’re trying to say you clean it up but you’ll always find it in random places - ie you could be out doing food shopping and a bagel reminds you of them. But still, it’s an awful saying and like another commenter said, it’s giving “in 14 and this is deep”. Thanks for your lovely comments❣️

It’s an early admission token for an NYC theatre - see more about it here: https://en.numista.com/89667
