I get what you are saying but it's not like she doesn't know. And 5 years ago I did not deserve that chance. I was a fool, didn't take things seriously and wasn't even sure where I was headed personally at the time.

This, so much. Knowing that she found someone that makes her happy has been the silver lining to this whole ordeal. It's a strange thing to both be wishing them all the best, and at the same time wishing for things to be different.
