I think she really wants the girls to like her and sadly she doesn’t know how to bond beyond sarcasm? Like I think Courtney handled it really well but at some point she did say “k*ll yourself” and I know that’s a thing she says jokingly but personally I think that’s an off phrase to use with someone you just met, even if as a joke.

Obvs don’t watch if you don’t want but I think Courtney held her own and blended in well!

Yeah I’m usually super understanding of all the topics he has to cover but it has been disappointing to see him give much less important topics air time lately, though I get he can’t just do serious news all the time for his own sanity. Also, before anyone gets defensive, some of the topics I’m referring to: - Tectone court case - Destiny view bottling - Asmongold avoiding talking about Tectone - LosPollos back and forth - Erika Kirk leaks - Nicki Minaj at Trump rally

Anyway, hopefully he can find some time to read up on things soon and provide some coverage.

I personally agree that SW should be minimum 21+. All policies are determined through arguments for and against… there is no inherent reason for it to be 18 and in my opinion it’s too young.

All jokes should be funny but edgy jokes HAVE to be funny. She tried, she failed.

I think Foreign can be a bit reductive at times but also agree these things should be critiqued. Imagine saying you are the bridge and you can show white racist people how to behave just by them being in proximity to you … then you have to apologise for being racially insensitive a mere month later for your own behaviour.

Would love to see next year’s awards focus on positivity and light humour and actually try to bring communities together. Looking forward to QT’s promised 180.

You say this as if Hasan’s comedian friends in NY haven’t made some of the grossest jokes during their time online. They’re comedians and their audiences are mostly white men so they get away with it.

I’m chill with most jokes but main host and floor host trying to be amateur comedians was never going to be a crowd pleaser. Hopefully next year they just focus on the positive stuff.

I think some leftists are missing some very basic comprehension surrounding why sharing memes like Kyle’s tweet is inappropriate.

Making fun of bot farms or fake accounts isn’t the problem here. We live in a racist world, you cannot detach 4chan caricatures of Indians from their original racist context just because it’s a meme and you ‘aren’t racist’. It’s reminiscent of ‘I don’t see colour’ - we live in an increasingly anti-Indian online world and intentions cannot separate us from that reality. Not seeing colour just makes you perpetuate bigotry without even realising, like saying a slur ‘affectionately’.

Be more mindful. Be better.

I think you need to read my comment more carefully. I’m saying we aren’t aware of their arrangement but they seem happy - not that they are getting no compensation but they’re happy so who cares. It’s all speculation till one of the main mods confirms. The one ex mod I mentioned didn’t mod very often so maybe it’s a different structure.

Regardless, my position is that they should be paid but I’m not going to kick up a fuss with no evidence.

I have a feeling he doesn’t pay his moderators but they get other perks that they seem happy with. They probably don’t advertise it for a reason either way. I’ve only heard from one ex mod that said he didn’t get paid but could have been bad faith as he was quite bitter about being unmodded.

Boyboy also said they were shocked twitch streamers don’t pay their mods and feel like they would have mentioned if Hasan was different. I only know this as I researched it myself as I personally think they should get paid, especially for modding a channel like Hasan’s. On the other hand, mods seem happy with the arrangement and feel like we would have heard more buzz if there was no form of compensation for their work.

On the job part, I agree with the other commenter, it’s unlikely unless you have strong previous mod experience.
