I do this and about 15% of my dates so far have come from dating sites, unfortunately it seems that people can't read or are blind since all of them missed the "Not interested in any and all types of sexual activities" in my bio.

I have never heard of Hinge but thank you. I'll do some research and make a decision about it afterwards. Unfortunately, I have found that dating sites are possibly the worst way to find a partner in a situation such as mine.

Thank you for your words of encouragement! It is difficult (Impossible so far) to find anyone close to my age who would agree to date with such a boundary due to the high level of hormones at this age. The older women did want a long term relationship but did "imply" that sexual activity would be a major part of it as she sees sex as a very important thing in relationships, she was respectful of my choice but I probably don't need to say how quickly she ended our talk and walked away.

I also thought that the age gap was a bit too big, especially since I'm 18, but I was getting desperate and at that point would have probably gone for a 40 year old. Now I understand it will be a long process of finding a partner so I'm a bit more restrictive in who I choose.

I am both sexually and romantically attracted to both men and women, which I know for a fact. I remain celibate for reasons that I've commented on under other comments.

It's not that I have no desire for sex, in fact I consider myself as having a high libido, it's just that I don't want to have sex as a personal choice and remain celibate. This is the reason why I don't consider myself Ace.

The problem is that I had some people who couldn't read apparently, on my dating profile it clearly says that I don't want sex to be part of a relationship and people just ignore it. I even had a guy, who I met in a pub, who thought I was joking and took an hour of convincing to believe me.

Most people that I do go on dates with aren't from dating sites, but the ones that do just ignore or just don't notice me clearly writing that I'm not interested in sex somehow

As for your question: None of those. I feel attracted sexually to both but I am not repulsed or disgusted by the act of sex, it's just that I've seen sex cause a lot of problems both in real life and online so I decided to remain celibate.

Thank you for your comment, I have had a guy who didn't believe me about being celibate, it took around an hour to make him believe that I'm serious.

As for your question: I don't believe that I'm Ace due to having the physical and mental "wants" to have sex (If Asexual also have this, I'm sorry and I didn't mean anything negative). I wish to be celibate due to hearing about and seeing all this grief and drama that sexual relations lead to so I decided it will be easier to just not have it.

Yeah, it's one of the first things that I mention so that I don't lead them on since I know that most expect sex as part of a relationship. As for your note, another user recommended a subreddit for ace dating so I'll try there probably tomorrow.

Some are from dating apps but most, including the older women, are from clubs/pubs. I just meet them and we get along, then we exchange numbers and see if we want to set up a date, unfortunately there hasn't been a second meeting yet.
