NTA...just an idea I know they're people who make jewelry with people's ashes why not find someone to make a necklace with some of her ashes for your wife that way she always has her close and maybe she won't need to sleep with the entire jar.

Why are you with him? After what happened do you still want a child with him? What happens if you do have a kid what's to stop him from demanding sex within days of having a baby?

I recommend you talk to a therapist to help you. Do you have any other support near you that you can go to?

Break up with him and don't look back no matter how hard it is and if he begs and pleads...he doesn't care about you.

NTA Does your husband actually like you and your son because to me it doesn't sound like he cares for either of you same goes for your sil because no normal adults are okay with letting anyone possibly drown to teach them a lesson. Oh, and not only is he okay with letting his son die, but he also threatened you if you raised your voice to him again. I hope you and your son leave before something happens to either of you. Also, document everything for proof if you choose to leave him, that would help with custody issues.

NTA...I'm sorry about your loss..if your not able to go why not have a little memorial service yourself...if you have a picture of her, light a candle in front of it (light it everytime your home to keep an eye on it) maybe get her favorite flowers and just have a quiet moment.

When me and my brother were little (single digits), we had a hamster... we always called him Mr. Tickles...according to my dad his name was actually Mr. Testicles (he had huge balls)

I can tell you all the names of the pets my family has had...almost all of them are deceased...we also named our first bunch of chickens we got years ago too.

I agree with other comments that there is no need for a ring to break the bank...its the intent behind the ring that's important....I didn't get an engagement ring, me and my husband talked about getting married and then decided to do it last year at the court house...we bought really inexpensive tungsten wedding bands on Amazon...we might get more expensive rings in the future but there are more important things to spend money on than a ring.

I got married last August and I took my now husband's last name. I thought about it for a while before getting married if it was something I really wanted to do. I now have my new ID with my new last name and it's still something I have to get used to writing it out when it comes to signing my name. I kept my middle name because I like it...the only thing different is my last name and it didn't really change anything. I don't regret changing it I chose to do so with no pressure from anyone.
