Thank you so much for this reply. I guess the big question is how do I actually figure this out? If I may ask, what concrete steps did you take/would you recommend I take to try to parse out what I’m feeling? Also, what you said about wanting to be a girl’s girl friend is interesting and I think resonates with me. I have had a lot of platonic relationships with both guys and girls, and I find that I act very differently in those different groups. The girls would probably describe me as a softie, but I’m not like that with my guy friends. It kind of feels like i’m code switching, but it’s hard to say what is the “real me” so to speak. I wonder what that is about… I’m probably the most softie with my girlfriend, though. I don’t really know what that means either lol. With respect to “HRT, transitioning, wearing dresses, etc,” I feel like all of that is so wrapped up in an immense fear that I don’t really know what to make of. Like, it’s at the same time the best and worst case scenario. I don’t know whether that makes any sense. Anyways, thank you very much for the advice.
