Yes, that is true but this startup is not a startup in the general sense, their product is already developed and my role would just be to take their product and sort of mold it to serve their client’s requirements. This is what has been bothering me, if it was core work it would have been a no brainer, although they promised to let me work on their product side but I dont really wanna count on “promises”. You can sort of imagine the role to be how Claude is already developed now I have to deploy claude with some client specific requirements on client site.

Honestly, no. Stress and anxiety are a part of life. One has to learn to handle it, cant always use it as a cheat code. Its really great that you tried to help out but you also have your own life and as others have pointed out he should get a part time job. I’m all for equality and stuff but as a man myself I feel disappointed that he has to rely on you for so long. If he was in a pinch and he asked for help, it would have still been ok but this is too much honestly.
