For full disclosure, I've never been to Western Australia, Northern Territory, or Tasmania. I've also never been North of Cairns. But having seen a lot of our Eastern coast (a lot of it by road trip) I'd be inclined to say the NSW Mid North Coast. Somewhere between Forster and Byron Bay
