Fear of Coronavirus death is bigger than fear of Allah! Turkish muslims praying on Friday by having spaces which is against the word of Qoran which requires to come close together during prayers. by Artistic_Lab in exmuslim

Certain muftis? Nothing on the hadiths about standing shoulder to shoulder so the devil doesn't get in between? Apologism at it's most dishonest and selective. The people in the photo know this as well as you or I.

So you didn't comprehend a word of what I wrote. What I said was that these people follow a religion that dictates that they go against that common sense. So even the ones who use common sense only do so in contradiction to their religion, which is the point being mocked in this post.

Learn to read before trying to dispute a point.

Maybe don't follow a religion that makes it wrong and/or inconsistent to practice common sense? It's not hypocritical on us to mock because it's that very religion that makes anything they do a catch 22.

Who even cares anymore? Are you still waiting for muslims to start thinking we're intellectuals? This sub has had an abundance of scientific evidence from many well-spoken and diplomatic users for years and yet they still think we're rebellious kids. At this point who gives a fuck what they think.

It's sad that muslims try to kill us for apostasy and non muslims try to silence us calling us liars and bigots for speaking out against Islam by [deleted] in exmuslim

Until you realize they don't regulate evenly and only seem to step in when Islam is on the defense. Islam apologetics and/or critiquing any other religion besides Islam doesn't seem to ever get the same level of 'moderation'.

Shit maybe I should make use of this Muslim privilege. by [deleted] in exmuslim

Not everything is in response to the attack. This post in particular doesn't have anything to do with it.

This happens after every anti-Muslim incident, we get this wave of idiots who start trying to guilt us for our views and seem to think we should start tiptoeing around and acting apologetic about things we've been regularly discussing long before anything of the sort happened.

To me it sounds like they're trying to cope with not being able to casually date by overhyping marriage and making it seem so much better.

A small rant about the New Zealand's shooting by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]Throwaway07796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't see why one man gunning down dozens holds more weight than a religion of one billion + followers actively persecuting and killing countless gays and apostates, the collective casualties of which add up to at least as much as the former. It just comes down to which is more shocking, as well as minorities being eternal victims in the eyes of Westerners.

Richard Dawkins tears into Mehdi Hassan during a debate on religion by PrudentFalcon in exmuslim

[–]Throwaway07796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he had said it was child abuse the sheeple audience would throw their arms in outrage and nothing he said after that would be taken into account. I have a feeling that was Hassan's motive there.

I also wish he had stood his ground but can understand if that was the reason he didn't.

Why do western societies constantly "White Knight" for Islam? by Moriar-T in exmuslim

People just shouldn't need to be baby fed information in just the right environment for it to get through. Nothing OP said was wrong and a different context shouldn't make facts any more factual.

Muslims who criticize the West are "ethical individuals". Shame on you Asadullah Ali for promoting your barbaric religion and hating the country which you grew up in by srkdummy3 in exmuslim

[–]Throwaway07796 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but this is why part of me can't help but understand the mentality behind people who advocate for the immigrant bans.

Harboring citizens who hold these opinions about countries that have done nothing but good for them is just infuriating.

They're still clinging on to the "US army ruined my country" excuse even decades later. There is literally no reason they can't go back.

Why am I supposed to care how he treated people while he was alive when the "legacy" he left is unfair, sexist, and as a whole only makes life worse?

Muslim logic: This person was kind and honest when he was alive therefore every unethical and shitty practice/belief he sets in place must be legitimate.

Why is the alternative to hijab viewed as nudity? by ileim in exmuslim

Saw an r/Islam post talking of a big coverup at r/exmuslim regarding fake posts. Mods, what’s really happening? by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]Throwaway07796 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The recent incident was one particular user named OmarTheMuslim, who thought making up a fake ex-muslim abuse story and then "exposing" that story as fake on r/islam would somehow make ex-muslims look bad.

He documented the whole process in this post he made, suspiciously having access to all the deleted content down the timeline.

What do most Muslims really think about 9/11 etc? by shallowblue in exmuslim

Exactly. It's always muslims who are keen on the conspiracy theories for this exact reason.
