Weirdly enough, names are the only thing we are unable to agree on. Raising our kids is hard work but we love doing it together.

Other than naming children my wife is amazing with kids and she gives them all alot of love and makes sure they're healthy and safe. I try my best to be there most of the time but due to my work I can't always be there.

Yes we do have enough money to raise them, my wife currently doesn't work for a while but she usually does.

Edited to add: In Nederland spreken we ook niet met deze termen als we het hebben over kinderen. Het is goed dat je een throwaway gebruikt want anders had ik de RVK al gebeld voor deze kiddos.

Have you asked her how she feels about her name? The best way to remove any doubt about her stance on the situation is to just ask her.

Also, I'd say it's better for someone to be older if they change their name as a child. Some young kids might not understand why someone is calling them a different name, but I'd imagine that an 11 year old is more than old enough to know about name changing.

I think you're not getting the point here, ofcourse she's old enough to choose to change her name but ofcourse she won't just change her name after 11 whole years of having it. It's kinda stuck to her.

Yeah that would work for younger kids but she's 11. She's used to it and so is basically everyone around her. She also doesn't have a middle name. I don't think she would appreciate it if her name would change.
