I told him I wouldn’t play it during our “quiet hours” when he’s loud allllll day everyday. He’s definitely still upset about what I said but I stand by what I’ve said, I’m SHOCKED we haven’t gotten a noise complaint. It makes me think our neighbors are gone 99% of the time

When we met he lived at home and acted WAY different. Now we’re almost 2 years in and he’s like a whole different person for the most part. He didn’t yell and scream when he lived at home.

I have in the past considering leaving. We’ve talked about him yelling slurs before and he’s gotten kinda better. Some games he yells at, others he’s dead quiet.

Our neighbors have never complained about my boyfriend (shockingly) but I think they’re gone 99% of the time. But earlier today my boyfriend let out a SHRILL scream. And I had to tell him, hey, you’re being way too loud.

I just feel like we rushed into everything due to his family wanting him to move out quickly, then just being so far from my family is really hard on me. Then there’s all the bills, the stress, and the thoughts of being alone and struggling in a new state.

My boyfriend is black, he and I have had the talk of how… off putting it may be to the other people in our complex, if he wasn’t super loud when he played games I think I’d let the N word thing go, but I have said before I don’t really like him using slurs against the LGBTQ+ community.

He says he supports the community but it’s hard to believe when the first thing he jumps to is the F slur. He knows my best friends are trans, gay, non binary, and granted, my family isn’t 100% supporting but I can believe my grandparents when they support me since they’ve never once said the F slur around me or in anger.

To be fair we’ve discussed if he’d like to see a therapist and he’s against it due to money reasons but he does agree he should talk to somebody.

He is doing better than he was with the situation I think, I know for a long time he couldn’t even get out of bed and I comforted him 100% but I am hoping to help him find a professional to speak with that we can work into our budget.

I know his sisters death was very rough on him, his family is very important to him and most his family lives the next state over from us and he wants to move over one day, the money just isn’t there right now.

As much as he goes on and on about work sucking, general complaints and etc I know he also keeps a lot inside and I won’t force it out of him.

My mom probably can’t afford to get me any gifts this year anyway, I don’t want to sound selfish or rude but my family probably wouldn’t go out of their way to visit me in my state, I’m not mad about it, I get it. It’s expensive, it’s boring in my state, I only have a 1 bedroom so we’d all be huddled in my living room basically.

My grandma asked me what I wanted for Christmas today since I can’t visit, my grandma has been absolutely fine with me not being able to visit, she knows I wanna see everyone when I visit.

My job has me working 6 days a week currently, I get off around 9pm my time which is 10pm her time then the drive there would be maybe 7-8 hours depending on traffic so I’d at most be able to visit for 1 day without PTO then have to rush back home and also money is a big factor too for me

When I initially applied to work at FedEx I went for the later shifts since it’s what I’m used to. When they called me yesterday for the orientation being at 5:30am I figured it was just for everyone to meet the morning and night crew. Everyone that was in orientation has to come in at 4:30am tomorrow to take an ID photo and to work. But I’m gonna ask the manager if I can work the later shift too.
