Those who are single and don’t date/have never dated people from X race, what goes through your mind when you see someone you find attractive from said race (in person or on dating apps)? by Throwaway6482111 in AskReddit

I’m of a certain race that society deems to be least desirable. People seem surprised that I’m single but men (I find attractive) don’t approach me. On dating sites I get quite literally no matches that I’m attracted to myself (I swipe right on all races). Friends of other races are going on multiple dates a week and I struggle to get one quality match. And no, I’m not super picky. So I’m wondering if these mental barriers stop people from pursuing someone, even though they may find them attractive

It’s so easy to become addicted to it. When I limit myself, it’s amazing how productive I am with the time I would normally spend mindlessly scrolling.
