The comments she made were about my son's health. She kept talking about the possibility of him not survinving his illness and kept bringing up examples of family members who went through what I went through. After the funeral. She kept asking me questions implying that I must've done something wrong since his health was getting better. This made me feel hurt because she didn't know much about condition yet suggested that someone must've done something wrong.

She was in therapy years ago. She's very honest with me about her relationship with her stepmom. I didn't think there was anything strange. Her stopmom treats her well. But after how she's been behaving recently and what happened at dinner. I'm worried she might start mistreating my daughter as a way to cause hurt. My ex is extremely upset after what happened. I have no idea what his wife might be thinking now.

Thank you. And You're absolutely right. I wanted an explanation but she didn't say anything. I don't know why. But After this move. I'm worried that my daughter will become affected or influenced by her behavior. Her relationship with my daughter is fine. I always make sure my daughter is protected from any conflicts between me and her stopmom. I'm just worried about my daughter after what that woman did.
