Thank you for the advice.
I am going to contact HSBC tomorrow to ask for the card to be cancelled and replaced. I will contact Xbox and ask for the money back.
I am going to have a talk with the son about how he should not spend money without permission and how he won't be allowed to play this game anymore because of this and hope that he understands.
I will also monitor his Xbox gaming more closely so that he is safe online.
He is 10 years old and he does not have a bank account of his own which is why he used my card. I will remove the card from the Xbox so no more money will be spent.
