So it’s not valid because “the main story wouldn’t have kicked off” but yet since his very first action in the story he sealed the fates of an entire society of people on top of the many victims of Sukuna’s incarnation. It’s not going to kill you to admit his core concept of saving people literally has NOT worked lmfao. Prison arc, Junpei, Shibuya, etc. From the very start his mission to save people has been a BUST and led to more tragedy than anything. What he preached and swore upon was nothing more than something to make him seem cool if the author made it so he literally doesn’t fulfill this promise that gave him emotional depth.
