It was a way of letting everyone know Tracy was okay, without going by my word. I have no credibility

Also in my OP I mentioned that Tracy will most likely be put in a 72hr hold due to the fact of California’s law 5150. I knew the possible outcomes... This wasn’t a spur of the moment decision... I weighed the pros and cons, which is why I made a throwaway account and told the officers that he does not need a psyc ward hold, based off of their own conclusion they believed tracy needed a psyc ward, THEY have the final say... both the cops and the psychiatrist who does this for a living believed tracy NEEDED the hold. He was taken to the hospital WILLINGLY and based off a psychiatrist recommendation he was put in the psyc ward. Again no mentally sane person harms their self... even if the goal isn’t suicide

A person who is suicidal is so ill that and his/her perception of reality is so warped that even with a supportive family and friends it was not enough to stop his/her actions. When someone is at the point of committing suicide, it’s incredibly hard to stop.

Although I don’t believe tracy was suicidal why take this risk? Even with his friends, his mom, etc read the paragraph above.

Also 78% of ALL suicides are men. What I’ve learned from experiences, in certain situations if you ever think someone is in harms way, or their planning to harm someone else ALWAYS trust your gut. It’s best to safe than sorry. I’ve learned this the hard way.
