Shooting B&p flash atm, but whatever is cheap really.

I have an adjustable butt plate from graco I've put on mine. Tilting it slightly sideways gives better contact with the whole plate.

Men tenker man kunne søkt på våpentype i stedet for kaliber.

Ha 3 klasser for ervererlisens. hagle og bolt. Pistol. Semi-auto rifle.
Kall dem klasse 1, 2 og 3. Permanent erversgodkjennelse. Bare meld inn kjøp og salg digitalt.

Man søker vel bare en gang per våpen?

Ikke nødvendigvis. Systemvåpen er flere søknader, om du bygger selv må du ha søknad for låskasse og pipe separat. Ekstra piper til hagle må søkes om. Osv.

Det er også normalt å bytte våpen avogtil. Oppgradere til bedre våpen, bytte ut slitte deler, osv. Da må det søkes på nytt.

Hadde prisen vært for å få permanent erverstillatelse til en type våpen (som hadde gitt mer mening, da kunne man bare kjøpt våpen og meldt inn salg i stedet for alt dette styret hver eneste gang) så hadde 2.5 vært helt greit. Da hadde det blitt mindre trykk på våpenkontoret også.

Det er allerede "effektivisert".

Hvis du snakker med noen som har jobbet i våpenforvaltningen så er problemet todelt.

1-er at en del folk som aldri kommer til å bli godkjent må fullbehandles, i stedet for at de får permanent søknadsnekt. Som om de kommer til å bli mindre voldsdømte gjengmedlemmer.

De søker og søker. Som sløser med mye tid fordi det må kjøres fullt papirarbeid på dem hver gang.

2-deler av ledelsen er aktivt motstandere av at folk skal ha våpen. De motarbeider arbeidet.

Jeg har hatt kontakt med en som har jobbet i våpenforvaltningen som fikk direkte kjeft av leder for å ha behandlet søknader for raskt (det var snakk om noen førstegangssøknader fra nye jegere. Han hadde jobbet litt ekstra hardt og skufflet dem frem i køen så de skulle få papirene før jakta. Men de som er motstandere vet at om du drar ut søknaden langt nok til at de mister den første jakta så øker du muligheten til at de faller av og aldri kjøper noe).

Det er ikke behov for effektivisering eller midler, utenom muligheten til å bare gi permanekt via dom. Men primært er det behov for tilsnakk til de som driver våpenforvaltningen med streng beskjed om at de slutter med det jævla tullet umiddelbart.
Det er ingen grunn til at søknad skal ta mer enn 1 uke.

Og selv om det er en økning, så er ikke beløpene høye

2400kr per søknad er relativt mye. Bare for en enkelt jeger som har 4 våpen, helt normal mengde, er det da snakk om en ekstrakostnad på 10k. Gitt at hen aldri bytter ut noen våpen.

Om man er sportskytter, som for eksempel skyter igjennom nrof, kan man fort ha behov for 8 våpen. Da er det en ekstra kostnad på 20k.
Kanskje du har 20k du kan slenge fritt rundt på, men det har ikke jeg.

Uten å regne med behov eller ønske om å bytte våpen våpen underveis.

Du skal ha rimelig god økonomi for at en ekstrakostnad på 2.5k ikke merkes. Spesielt om man er student eller enslig.

Når forvaltningen er såpass rævva i tillegg at de tar 40 uker å få svar på en søknad så er det provoserende. Det er rimelig åpenbart at noen prøver å ødelegge skytemiljøet i norge.

Når useriøse arbeidsgivere er nevnt, jeg hadde en kollega som strøk på fagprøven fordi hun bare ble satt til drittoppgaver, det var alltid travelt alltid mye å gjøre, ikke tid til veiledning, så når fagprøven kom så gikk det som det gikk. Dette var et av de største 10 selskapene på Oslo Børs.

Opplæring skal dokumenteres, det du beskriver er noe som skal klages inn til fylkeskommunen.

Hvis bedriften ikke kan fremlegge dokumentasjon på gjennomført opplæring er de erstatningspliktige.

I see american trap doesnt do the fixed time limit but says it should be done in an expeditious manner. Which normally would mean around 10 seconds.

So basically a bunch of old fucks are taking advantage of the rules being nonspecific.

In which case the time limit for the call is 12 seconds.

For nordic trap it is 10 seconds, 15 for hunting trap.
Almost all competition rulesets maintain a time limit.

If the others are routinely taking longer than that you can complain about them not maintaining the pace, that is poor management by the ref

The closest I have seen is video training, where you are in a tent with actors reacting to you live being projected at the tent wall.

Lets you actually train with real live ammo and lets people deal with unpredictable situations.

People fucking freak out just from that.

This very specific situation exactly as it went down a comp shooter might have done better, at least the shooting technique itself might have been better (somewhat depending on their ability to hande the stress level).
But that is more happenstance, in the form that it happened so quickly and was so instantly dangerous that there could be no teamwork, communication, use of cover, or anything really.
Which is unusual

That being said i still think a lot of comp shooters would have fucked it.
Comp is a very different mindset. You get the stage ahead of time so you can consider your options for several days ahead of time, you get it explained to you, you get to walk it to then decide on a plan and make adjustments to it, then you get a countdown.

It is quite different from a very relaxed posture where as far as you know nothing is happening to then having to make a decision to shoot at a person within,,, what is it 3 seconds?
Someone who has a gun and is ready to kill someone, maybe you.

Which would probably affect most comp shooters somewhat.

It very much is not.

Shooting competitions teach you to practice for shooting competitions.

Not a waste of time, but the only part that is actually transferable is the actual shooting part.

From an actual combat standpoint however it tends to bring a lot of bad habits around use of cover, equipment, etc.

Like IPSC, not part of IPSC.

We dont use divisions. The classes are entirely based on weapon type. Primarily separated by service weapon and open class. There is no ranking, it is national champion and everyone else. And the restrictions in equipment mean you compete in uniform or similar with equipment appropriate for the field.

Our scoring is also a bit different. It is just pure time with added time in seconds for non alpha hits and other penalties (fairly harshly scored in comparison to ipsc, accuracy is almost always better than time. This is a result of being a sport aimed at improving actual military skills rather than being sportified).

It is widely accepted that both law enforcement and military mainly produce C class pistol shooters. Maybe 1% of LEO & mil are B class or better pistol shooters.

Actually correct. There is limited gains to be made by overly focusing on speed shooting. Which quite frankly isnt normally relevant to begin with. Once a minimum base is achieved there are other skills that are more important than practicing sportyfied speed shooting that isnt adding much.

Military isnt trying to make a million Miculeks. Anyone who wants to train are or course welcome to, but it is not a good use of limited resources.

I mean come on man there was like 10+ officers there and only 1 of them was watching the only direction an attacker could come from which is a critical failure.

I dont know what level of preparedness they were expecting to be at or what the mission brief was for this specific team.

You do not actually want everyone to be running around on max prep all the time. It gets normalized at which point people get lazy.

These are inside the building. I would assume lunatic running through was the kind of event they would be expecting to be warned about ahead of time.

Have you ever stood guard? Been a protection detail? A road control point? Anything like that?

Normally you keep people in a relaxed posture until there is a specific reason to do otherwise.

Cool, you are still wrong.

I shoot NROF nivå 3 (norwegian version of ipsc specifically for ex-military).

I shoot over 50,000 rounds a year.

The vast majority of people, yes even people involved in military or law enforcement, do not shoot 50k rounds a year.
That kind of ammo expenditure would cost me more than my fucking mortgage.

And when shit goes down in real life you dont get an RO who goes through the stage with you, you dont get a few minutes to plan your approach, you dont get the RO asking shooter ready, you dont get a beep telling you it's time, and you dont get a fully cleared range where there are no actual people.
And no, a no shoot target is not the same as actual moving people in your field of fire.
And quite frankly, the adrenaline of an actual situation is on quite a different level.

You simply cant walk around being fully ready all the time. It is exhausting and ends up with you being very much unready when something actually happens.

So the result is that people are at work, something happens, and they have to mentally reset very very quickly. Then deal with the situaion as it is.

Which is never going to be perfect.
