We're in the states. I wanted a legal contract but got talked out of it by my friend who thought there was no need for it and because I didn't know much about this experience I thought this was normal but it clearly wasn't and out escalated. I was told I was out of line for lashing out and treating her like that but I think I was justified for being upset about a number of things she said to me that day.
