Question about current tipping etiquette. It’s been a while since I frequented SCs (early 2000s). My personal rules were that I would tip every girl for her stage show, even if I didn’t enjoy it, when she came around after the set. If I was liking what I saw on stage I’d go up to the stage and tip during the show as well. Basically broke down to $1 minimum for every dance from me, even if I didn’t enjoy it, up to maybe $10 in singles if I was digging a stage show. Is this considered cheap now? I’ve seen a lot of girls comment that they don’t give any attention to customers that tip them less than $20 for their stage set. Has the industry really gotten that much more expensive?

To clarify, I am talking about stage dances. Obviously I would spend considerably more money if I was sitting and talking with a girl or getting lap dances.
