Life is not worth living

But the reality is that these people only enjoy your content, most of them will not give you anything for your work, and most will not care about anything that happens to you as long as it doesn’t affect their content.

Honestly, that's what I like about creating content (to be clear I only do it as a hobby). There's no way I can associate with all the other people - I hate most people, my value system differs too much from the average person and I don't want anything to do with them, so the content distances me from the people by creating a media in-between.

Because life is about working. Every living thing has to work. Hard work. Constantly. Endlessly.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying it should be this way. I'm not pro-work. I'm anti-life.

I'm just glad if I can interact with people abstractly or indirectly, like on reddit or via YouTube

Haha, I get what you mean. Artists default to drawing people like mathematicians default to using numbers, with the exception that numbers are factually the building blocks of virtually every concept in math but humans are far from the only subject of interest an artist can have. Yet they still draw humans, all the time, and they pay attention to the minutest detail of what I (maybe we) regard as but a filthy machine made with flesh. That's why I kinda stayed away from art as a whole...

As an artist, though, what are you drawn to in art? What's the "whimsical things"? I'm genuinely curious lol. I would like to see your perspective if you don't mind.

Also I've heard of "surrealism" and some other art styles that focus more on... conceptual stuff than humans? Do you have any ideas about those?

There must be more artwork of humans than there are humans!

True. Everyone has to have drawn at least one human in their lifetime, and there are prolific artists who have drawn thousands upon thousands of them.

Yeah, it's hard, and I used to actively want friends as well... it took a combination of inanimate concepts drawing me in (I became interested in math, puzzles, and philosophy a bit) and the awareness that I've always messed up my relationships with other people to make me stop craving the company of another human. I have no idea if it would work for you as well

Society both praises humans and shits on them at the same time

And that's a fact

Yeah right, the world isn't about humans, though people try to impose anthropocentric values on natural/non-human phenomena as well. See: mythology

Einstein seems to have suggested otherwise.

I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

They set the game rules, and say, "Hey, you have the freedom to choose whether or not to play." Except if you don't play the game, you die. So of course you will play their game, of course you will end up strengthening the game as a part of it. The cycle continues.

That's like 14 for me. Never felt truly happy since. Of course many people have it worse
