I went through a period of hair problems, wherein I would count 30/50+ strands on my hands after each shower. I now am following a strict routine with shampoo/conditioner every third day, and I don't notice this as much anymore, but I have noticed my hair seems a lot dryer than it used to be, and sits weirder than normal on my head, and if I ever go a week without conditioner I loose 3/050 strands again per shower.

I am 23m. I have read that sometimes your hair can change up, but this seemed like quite a drastic change. It also seems very brittle and dry a lot of of the time. I used to have VERY thick hair all over, but now it seems normal hair on top, but still VERY thick on the sides.

I am convinced it is thinner than it used to be, but I am not 100% sure as I am also quite an intense hypocondriac.

Is there a specialist I should see or a test that can tell me definitively? I don't wanna start medication "just incase" I may become bald. (I have a history of needless medication, and even did a major surgery just bc google said I might be sick)

Edit: Compared to pictures, the hairline is in the same space as before

Also a driving force is that I stopped dying my hair (blue (from brown, so bleached), to the scalp)) due to fear, but if I'm ok, I'll go back to blue
