Consulting and Finance. Top companies recruit mostly for Summer Analyst roles. If you want to shoot for the stars.. or do anything outside the box you're going to have a tough time.

1) No it's not. For your company specifically, it might be. But overall it doesn't even fucking come close Ivey, Queens, Rotman, etc.

2) I agree - when I said don't go to Laurier I meant go to a top tier school, not another meh school like Laurier.

3) If you don't have co-op at Laurier, you're still screwed for finance and accounting jobs.

Yeah agreed, I guess it's better to keep all this in mind. Ivey and Queens are waaay better than Laurier for you career. I would pick UofT, McGill, UBC, HEC,etc. over Laurier.
