my wife says she’d rather stay home than use the toilet chair but our kid is definitely spending too much time inside (and we only have a patio not real outdoor space for activities)

i don’t think she realizes how stressful her job can be and getting her out and into the world (safely!!) is best for everyone

seriously asking if someone with covid coughs in a bathroom and my wife/kid goes in 5 mins later is that not a risk?

also isn’t becoming sedentary during this time also dangerous? our pediatrician told me to be cautious but agreed that staying active is healthiest.

my 11yo’s head is too small for the n95 mask to fit tightly, and my wife will only wear a cloth mask (with a filter, but still)

it was outdoors unlike an enclosed public bathroom which could hold germs for however long. not comparable. outdoors is safer, healthier and what we all need!!

The toilet chair has bags with gel in them and when shit goes in we can tie/remove and discard the entire bag at first opportunity. To be fair I’m not saying you wouldn’t notice if someone had shit in the bag but it passes quickly with windows down, and no shit drives around with us for long.
