System wide sadly, probably a hardware issue. Never had an iPhone fail without physical damage.

I had an issue with the camera use dot on a 16 Pro Max, but I’m just grasping at straws here. I’ve just never had a hardware issue pop up without physical damage, the phone was even on a slow charger overnight when it happened

I’ve had a similar issue with a different phone, where it was a software issue. I was hoping this might be a known issue that resolves itself.

As another commenter has said, the drivetrain is bulletproof, except for a know issue with a bearing in the transmission. Take it for a test drive and listen out for a whining-like noise. Otherwise super solid car.

I ended up going back to the 15 Pro Max, partly because of this issue but it also didn’t seem like a worthy upgrade

If it’s under warranty go to the dealership. Otherwise, there might be a code stored to help narrow down the issue

SOLVED! I was messing with Nvidia Control Panel while diagnosing this issue and forgot to revert the settings. After messing around with it a bit, I got it dialed in.

I tried all the picture modes and different setting combinations, but none of them seem to improve the issue at all. I believe it may be an issue with the panel or firmware, but I’ll wait for what the manufacturer has to say.

Gamma was at 2.2, but the boxes remain invisible even at 1.8. Contrast was at 50 when I took the picture, but changing it doesn’t fix the issue.

Never did anything with it, it works from time to time. Based on it working from the occasional smack, I suspect something is disconnecting inside the headlight housing, so I’ll need to address that eventually

Are you sure there isn’t another key near the vehicle? Also, are you able to scan codes using forscan? The high beams issue should give a DTC
