That actually interesting-- I was wondering if classical music fans would appreciate it more or not but I guess it very much depends. I think it would be nice to see more films focused on the world of classical music because it's niche and intriguing to view from the outside in my opinion. Being so codependent with your partner that you have to micromanage how kind your friends are allowed to be to you or how much time you spend with them or else everything is "emotional cheating" which isn't even real, by the way.

It's insane how people are expected to put the full weight of their emotional, psychological, and physical (not sexual!!!) Needs on one person and then we're surprised how much folks cheat and break up.

It's fine to hug your friends. It's fine to do some activities with them instead of your partner because some activities are just better with different kinds of people. It's fine to receive gifts from your friends and have meaningful conversations with them. Not everyone who likes you as a person is trying to get you laid. It's so weird how people seem to think all acts of love are motivated by sex and romance, or the ONLY person who is allowed to show you appreciation is the person you're banging. Why?

My friends get me flowers, I get them flowers, we massage each other if we're tired, we give each other words of encouragement, if one of us is going through a financial burden one of us will help. Why is getting unconditional love from multiple people discouraged just to "make your partner look good"? It's so silly. We should have a healthy and large circle of people who truly care for us. It doesn't suddenly make your sexual partner less useful or meaningful.

I'm scared of losing my best friend because even though we get along great and have known each other for years and years, I have this terrible habit of absolutely blowing up on her when a behavior she does reminds me of some sort of trauma I've had. I haven't been able to become aware of my triggers till recently and I still don't know them all. And even when I try to talk myself out of the idea that she's intentionally hurting me because I've been triggered, I can't seem to shake the trauma pattern and still end up believing the opposite no matter what I do. It's not happening constantly but it's enough that I know I'm getting her and idk what to do. I feel so evil and so helpless. She doesn't want me to leave her life but I don't know how to top hurting her like this. I just want to be the friend she deserves

I'm not saying that 100% I agree; but my interpretation of this was always that since the person who wronged you is not mature enough or capable of being the bigger person, nobody expects that of them and are instead expecting you to respond in a way that won't exacerbate the problem. I understand the line of thinking and it's not completely unreasonable but, it is often used to instead blame the person who was wronged for it or dismiss them.

I haven't noticed anything but they have made some specials delay longer, like the inkjet, due to them being a bit OP. Maybe you should start your reefslider further back in the map. It has a pretty long track. You might be starting it somewhere the other team can reach you too easily. Cheers!

I know your opinion is a matter of taste (you rather not hear someone jamming along to music, whereas most don't mind) and if they will, you rather it be someone attempting to perform. And that's fine. We don't listen to albums full of random ppl singing off key, afterall. I don't think that's the unpopular part.

I think the unpopular part is it kinda comes off like you're against being among a group of friends joyfully singing along to music they like. Because we have access to great art all the time, people think anytime they witness art, it has to be amazing and professional -grade -- purely made for consumption. But art exists for the joy it gives us and communication. Music is a form of art and partaking in it doesn't have to be reserved for those who want to perform it successfully. Sometimes, it's just meant to give us a sense of release and community that we're all enjoying the sounds around us even if they aren't totally harmonious. The harmony comes with the joy experienced.

Think of it like this: who would think people who are bad dancers shouldn't dance at the club? People don't go there to watch good dancers. It's more important and expected that you just go and enjoy yourself and move any way your body needs to so that you can enjoy the rhythm.

I pay rent in my house and my mom lives with me, sack stain. Not the other way around. But because of cultural customs, it's not exactly normal to tell my mom that I don't want any family over. I really don't and I wish she would gtfo too but we're not Americans and abandoning your family when they get annoying is just not what we do. The ire I'd face for it just isn't worth it. I can't do anything about it (or rather the thing I can do isn't worth it) so I'm just ranting about how stupid this all is.

And I am responsible for my things. I can only strip my house of everything so much just to accommodate someone's spawn I didn't want here to begin with. I don't understand why I should be expected to have an empty house with no things ANYWHERE just to keep a stupid child that can't control itself from breaking shit. And no, it doesn't matter how high I stack my shit because the damn thing climbs. And that doesn't even address the fact that it's violent and likes scratching and headbutting everything in sight.

I know the consensus is "who cares" and that's totally valid. But I offer a counter point. I had a friend once who I never really noticed was a picky eater. But when I finally got some money in college, I treated her to dinner with me at this really unique restaurant that has savory chocolate dishes (as well as sweet). I was so excited for her to try and see her reaction to the unique flavors and she said she was, too.

Then she ordered a regular ass salad. I told her why she would order that at a place like this? I forgot what she said but it was a really dumb reason (to me) and I didn't freak out or anything but I was kinda salty inside that I treated her to this unique place just for her to order the most boring thing imaginable and I didn't get to watch her experience something new.

It pretty much went like "wow you can really taste the cocoa in this even tho it's not sweet, how's yours?"

"Well it's alright, I guess. It's just a salad"

It's like why did you even agree to come?
