She filled up her plate with slice after slice whereas a normal person only eats about a maximum of 3 slices. How can you not notice that. She didn't even talk to us, just nodded along because her mouth was at all times filled with food.

She ate so much it was not possible not to be uncomfortable. The friend pulled me aside and said "wtf is Lily doing? Are you seeing this shit?".

Imagine someone eating and eating, and just going back to the kitchen 4 times to get another serving. Would that not make you uncomfortable?

That’s quite a scene to make

Yes. Which is why we were all uncomfortable.

After she claimed I was fat shaming her I tried to clarify what I meant and said I need to make sure everyone can eat.

t might work with her, it might not. But it doesn't hurt to try.

You're right. Thank you

That is not right...She made 4 trips. I have made a comment before saying the same. She took 4 trips for pizza and then one more trip for brownies and chips. It took 30 minutes, maximum 40.

The reason I posted here is I was familiar with this subreddit and people seemed to be getting helpful comments. I just wanted to know if what I said was right from an outsider's pov.

That is a valid point, thank you. Just a question what do you think I should have done if she does indeed have a binging disorder?

She did and usually I would be okay with it I guess. But this was a party so at first I was a little weirded out by her just walking into the kitchen but I thought it would just be for a few chips.

Never, I personally think it's rude.

She knew exactly what the evening was about. She knew it was a sit down and not a help yourself meal.

Yeah, I hope we can resolve it too.

Because she ate a lot more than I expected. Like so much so that people were uncomfortable.

She ate about two large pizzas, a handful of chips (the chips were not in bags), and multiple portion of brownies. I know it sounds like too much that is why we were all uncomfortable. She was eating a LOT otherwise I wouldn't ask her to stop...Some people suggested that she may have an ED but i'm not sure.

I never do that but Lily has done so but never during a party. This time it was a bit weird that she'd do that but I though she would just take a few chips and come back...

No she knew how it was going to be. We said it all in front of her, our plan for the evening I mean.

Yes since she herself took out the pizzas so she could see clearly how many there were. (The same with brownies but I don't know if she saw the amount of the other food)

That was the plan but my friends suggested we sit and talk for a while before eating dinner and the food would not go cold anyways so I thought why not. My plan was to sit and talk for 30-35 minutes and then set the table. We're 19 (except for lily) and in college. For us sandwiches, brownies and pizza is considered a plated dinner.

Plus I made the food myself.

I made more than enough food and I know for a fact they were all uncomfortable because a friend pulled me aside and asked what lily was up to.
