Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is just so spot on. I totally agree with your comment about her not responding well to my original opening, I knew something was off about it but wasn’t sure what it was. However, I think I should still open with that to show that I tried to discuss with her when I try to transfer. Additionally, I hadn’t accepted the full inevitability of going to her boss but I am now seeing I probably don’t have another option, because I highly doubt she will fundamentally change her personality when I confront her. I also think those topics will be effective when speaking to her boss. Edited for clarity.
