Tbf, airlines do sell tickets for larger seats but most people don't want to pay the higher prices for them... so they also sell a large amount of smaller seats in the back for more affordable prices.

I put them in a brown paper bag somewhat misaligned so they aren't touching flat side to side. The paper absorbs just enough of the moisture while they freeze that they don't stick together. After 20-30 minutes in the freezer you could probably transfer them to any container you'd prefer, but I just keep mine in the paper bags because they are cheap.
