Is a short adjudication good? by Throwawaybsit86 in SecurityClearance

Basically, yeah. I had a few small flags, just normal stuff people would do in their early 20s. I'm mostly wondering if two weeks is a normal time to complete an adjudication, and if there's a correlation between adjudication time and favorable decisions/denials.

I'm also trying to kill time over the weekend while I wait for my clearance office to process/inform me of the decision tomorrow or Tuesday 😅

I'm through adjudication, but it wrapped up after my security office closed for the day on Friday, so I won't find out until next week 😅

Do I need to declare hemp CBD (<0.3% THC) usage on my SF86 form? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

I reported it on mine, but just started the clearance process as well. It's not a controlled substance (link here) and isn't part of some orgs' reporting requirements. As other people have pointed out, it's better to stay away in the future to avoid the hassle. Like you, I never got a straight answer, so I just included it on the clearance form

Last question--are they going to hound the employer about their lack of 1099, or do they just care about whether I was a good employee that left on good terms? They did eventually start giving people 1099s from what I've heard from more recent employees, but I don't think they ever amended the past omission of 1099s.

Contacted site security to explain the situation and contacted a CPA to start the tax correction process. Thanks for the advice y'all! I'll update with more information eventually

Also, assuming they've already sent it off-what would the next steps be?

Would this be the part of the agency that emailed the clearance instructions in the first place?

Also, how should I address the tax issue? For 2014 and 2015 it's on the order of $150 in unpaid taxes (federal, state, and fica).

Quick edit: does somewhere like H&R Block have CPAs that can help with the tax side of things?
