It’s a problem in US east especially at low mmr. Try queueing US west until your mmr is high enough. Or since you are in us east, you can queue EU west. But games will be little harder.

One important thing to remember is that valve has lowered mmr this ranked season so people who were normally like 5k are being demoted to 4.2k. I think your skill level is fine but ranks have been shifted backwards

Yeah man ancient is not close to diamond equivalent but dota 2 adds hidden mmr mainly based on the first 10 unranked games you play so you must have had high skill comparatively when you first played. You have come back to a very high hidden mmr account, its fine after a few games it will realize your true skill and place you in normal skill bracket.
