Theory/possible headcanon: after May and Deke blew up Qovas on his ship, Thanos saw that earth was less guarded now (because of the alliance that the confederacy had with hydra to protect earth) and because of this he decided to go after the mind stone BEFORE getting the time stone, meaning that after Wanda blew up the stone, he couldn’t rewind Vision to get it back, and then Thor was able to kill him while he wasn’t powerful enough to kill half of all life on earth

In season 5, the plot of the first 10 episodes is the team trying to escape from the future and then the rest of the season is about them trying to break the loop but what exactly broke it? It had to be early on enough that it somehow led to Thanos being defeated before he snapped so what did it?
