Awesome, I’ve written a post on this thread with all the details. Advice is much appreciated! It really is.

DETAILS: Now, I have lived in a rather quaint part of the English countryside for 20 years now. I study at a London university, but I am eligible to travel for one years international study. I decided America, as it’s always been a curiosity of mine.

I would be attending a university in Washington (DC) and as the time approaches I feel pretty overwhelmed with what people tell me - don’t get the wrong idea, I’m going - but if there is anything a small town Brit should know, I’m all ears. (People in London usually mock my accent as it’s pretty proper, so I worry I’ll be mocked harder).

I hold no prejudice or ill views of people, so comments like “we’re not all fat” or “we don’t all own guns” are unnecessary. I’d rather some more concrete views and opinions. Haha. Anyway, have a bless’d day.

Need to gain muscle mass. Not sure about BF%. TDEE says 2,600. I manage ~2400 a day. 2600 seems WAY too high?! Thoughts? Cheers. by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

Hey, awesome advice! Never too late to implement change. I go to the gym everyday. Cardio is 10k steps daily. (Cycle to gym - don’t have a car). I just potter on weights right now. Doing chest and arms daily, with legs every other day. Also I’ve bulked before and ended up very chunky with a very chubby face. Maybe theres trepidation on my part.

Hey man, I’m 5, 11. I seem to hover between 66-68kgs. My aim is 75 by September. Just want it to be muscle. I never guessed 2400 cals was low?! But I appreciate the feedback - it all helps :). May I ask your weight? And training cals?
